Durante el PlayStation Showcase se confirmó que saldrá a la venta una recopilación de los primeros Metal Gear Solid. Llamada la Master Collection vol. 1 incluirá Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty y Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. La colección estará disponible en otoño 2023.
