A la tercera ha ido la vencida y esta tarde por fin ha despegado la primera misión tripulada de una Starliner de Boeing.

El objetivo de la Boeing Crew Flight Test (Vuelo tripulado de prueba de Boeing, Boe CFT, o CFT a secas) es llevar su tripulación a la Estación Espacial Internacional (EEI), a dónde está previsto que lleguen el mañana a las 18:15, hora peninsular española (UTC +2). NASA TV está haciendo un seguimiento continuo de la misión hasta su llegada a la EEI. También es un tema popular en mi lista de Twitter de cuentas relacionadas con el espacio.

Permanecerán allí hasta volver a tierra el próximo día 14 para un aterrizaje en White Sands en Nuevo Mexico. La idea es pasar por todas las fases de una misión tripulada pero comprimida a siete días en vez de los seis meses habituales de estas misiones.
