El vocalista Scott Weiland ha fallecido a los 48 años por causas que todavía se desconocen. Este es el comunicado oficial:
Scott Weiland, más conocido por ser el cantante principal de Stone Temple Pilots y Velvet Revolver, ha fallecido mientras dormía en una parada de su gira con su grupo The Wildabouts en Bloomington, Minnesota. En estos momentos pedimos que se respete la privacidad de la familia de Scott.
Weiland se encontraba de gira junto a su banda, The Wildabouts, y debería haber tocado anoche en Bloomington, pero, al parecer, su representante encontró el cuerpo sin vida del artista en el autobús que estaban usando en el tour.
Lamentablemente, Scott fue más conocido en los últimos años por sus problemas con las drogas y el alcohol que por su música.
