El día de hoy, 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' cumple siete años y para celebrar este aniversario, desde la cuenta oficial de Twitter de esta franquicia, han anunciado que la versión next-gen de este título llegará durante el último cuarto de este año.

En un principio, el desarrollo de esta versión de la tercera entrega de 'The Witcher' estaba en manos de Saber Interactive, quienes hicieron el port de este mismo título para Nintendo Switch. Sin embargo, después de un cambio de planes, CD Projekt Red decidió tomar el mando del proyecto:

We have decided to have our in-house development team conduct the remaining work on the next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. We are currently evaluating the scope of work to be done and thus have to postpone Q2 release until further notice. 1/2— The Witcher (@witchergame) April 13, 2022

Este cambio pospuso el lanzamiento para el segundo cuarto de este año, pero nuevamente ha sido retrasado. Como lo deja ver lo mencionado anteriormente, a través de Twitter:
