Kojima Productions ha recibido el apoyo de artistas de todo el mundo para el desarrollo de Death Stranding. Entre ellos, algunos músicos han visitado el estudio y se han inspirado en el juego. El resultado de este trabajo es un álbum llamado Timefall: Original Music From the World of Death Stranding.
Artistas de música electrónica y otros géneros, estuvieron muy cerca de Death Stranding; lo jugaron, disfrutaron y se inspiraron para lograr lanzar un disco. Sony anunció una asociación con RCA Records para poder poner dicha creación a disposición de los interesados.
Hideo Kojima explicó en su cuenta de Twitter que CHVRCHES, banda indie pop, se encargó del tema «Death Stranding» para el final del juego.
